Marxist collectivization

Marxist collectivization, like those that happened in the Soviet Union, happened for a reason.

In the USSR there was a group called Kulaks, they was wealthy landlords who owned the farmlands and sold food at high prices, usually abroad to other nations because the people in the USSR at the time could not afford it. Most anti-soviet or anti-communist people support the Kulaks and slander the soviets for collectivization. This is where facts must be brought up. The Soviet Union, being a socialist state, works in favor of the workers and impoverished. The collectivization of farm land from the Kulaks was to stop the selling of food to other nations and to focus on feeding the people of the USSR.

The farmers of the collectivized farm land worked for the benefit of the people of the USSR. Now with the wealthy landlord removed from the picture, the farmers could focus on producing food not out of fear of being kicked out by the landlord, but for them and others to eat. The USSR controlled the flow of food to relieve the most impoverished areas struck with famine.

The USSR had no other choice but to collectivize the farms, the Kulaks was not only oppressing the farmers in the name of greed, but they was starving the entire population as well. The USSR with the collectivization of farm land was doing this in the name of benefiting the working people of the USSR, they was not starving their own people for fun as the anti-communists would want you to believe.

Refugees and chauvinistic racism

Ever since the Paris terrorist attack, the demonizing and ruthless attacks against refugees has tripled. This is mainly with the actions of the right-wing, especially in the U.S. and Europe. However the liberals have as well taken hold to chauvinistic racism against the refugees. After the attack, western media, including liberal media, did nothing but blame the refugees, saying the terrorists came with the refugees, even despite the recent news saying otherwise that the individuals was French civilians.

Anti-refugee right-wingers have been pushing heavily against any refugees coming in to the country in both Europe and North America, staging protests and spreading biased information. This has been seen before, back with the fall of Nazi Germany when the U.S. denied taking in displaced Jews because of the fear there was extremists among them.

It is a fact that the amount of refugees the U.S. has taken in, since 9/11, has not committed any acts of terrorism. In fact, most domestic terrorism since 9/11 has been committed by right-wing extremists, usually those involved with the Tea Party, Neo-Nazis, KKK, or other right-wing organizations.

This racist chauvinistic rhetoric against refugees needs to stop, to demonize innocent people escaping terrorism, to throw nationalistic feelings for your nation in the face of the refugees as you tell them to leave, is the ultimate acts of a coward that's too scared to help. Turning refugees away is turning them to their death, so with that said, the people who uttered the words “All Lives Matter” or say “I care about everyone” that back turning refugees away, are the biggest hypocrites alive. Usually the same people who talk about the suffering the innocent people deal with in these chaotic nations, but back war to make it more chaotic. That's the petty-bourgeoisie mind of liberalism, will talk about important issues, but will jump to support the capitalist establishment against the very people they say they care about.

Marxism and marijuana

On the subject of marijuana, Marxists, at least majority of Marxists, hold a tolerant view on marijuana. Let's explore why.

Within the recent years with the rise of climate change, hemp has showed to be a revolutionary alternative to our current problem of oil, coal, fossil fuels, etc. Studies and tests have been done and results come in that hemp can be used for paper, fuel, building materials, and clothing. Because of this, it is clear why hemp products are not being pushed more than others, because this would be a competition big corporations would not stand against, big corporations would collapse against this green alternative. Today, from what it seen among the Marxist community, most back this alternative.

Now on consumption, I shall use the socialist state of North Korea as a current example for Marxists stance on consumption of marijuana. The huffingtonpost surprisingly made a report on this subject, but North Korea has no laws on the consumption of marijuana, and don't consider it a important enough issue to make such laws. In fact, most of North Korea backs the consumption of marijuana. They see the consumption as a good way to relax from a day of work and to help with stress or other issues. Marijuana is sold locally in stores, usually in small towns. Because of North Korea's lack of laws on the drug, its price is extremely cheap. A small shopping bag full of marijuana in North Korea costs about 80 cents.

Now lets highlight the medical effects of marijuana. There is a website dedicated to studying the effects of many marijuana strands and seeing their effects on the individual, this sites purpose is seeing the medical treatment of marijuana. From what is seen, most marijuana strands help individuals with anxiety, depression, lack of hunger, and insomnia.

Marijuana, for Marxists, is not a issue of great importance in which to spend a lot of energy on. The science has been done and as Marxists we're scientists, and as scientists we've seen there is no dramatic issues with marijuana other than being a drug to help with relaxation or help ailments.

Bullying

Many talk about bullying like it's something new, it's not. Bullying has been around for years, even in the past. The issue with today compared to the past is a lot of people believe that those who stand against bullying, calling for staff to do something about it, are weak, are cowards. People say kids was never like this in the past, no, that's false. In the past we carried a “man up” view to everything, which made victims of bullying have no outlet to express emotion. There was a reason people killed themselves in the past, some over economic, some over relationships, others was over bullying that could never be reported because of our ignorant view of how people should act. Even today we can see with any resistance against traditional views of the past, that a opposition will rise in favor of the old views, bullying and ignoring it is one of those old views.

One of the best things we organized to help victims of bullying was safe spaces. Many are against the formation of safe spaces out of a ignorant view that it makes the kids weaker, when the opposite is true. Safe spaces has helped many, including victims of bullying. No one seems to understand that when you have a place to get away and open up, it can help the pain of bullying. Safe spaces are needed, especially when you're in a school where anywhere you go is hostile because of the severity of the bullying.

I can speak on this from experience. Growing up through elementary to middle school I endured nothing but bullying. In elementary I gained a reputation for fighting because it took three grades before I couldn't handle the punching, the shoving, the name calling, and all the relentless attacks before I decided to fight back, then be blamed by the school for fighting back despite hearing and seeing what the others was doing to me. When I transcended from elementary to middle school, I was told by the school on the first day “we know your history, don't try and repeat it here.” The bullying continued despite isolating myself from the others. The more bullied I was, the more hostile I became, I fought back against bullies everyday. After three fights the middle school threatened me to either stop or I get expelled, which I couldn't do because my father wants me to get my education, but to me at the time it sounded good just to get away from the constant attacks. Just like my elementary school, when I was bullied they blamed me and did nothing to the bullies. It was coming close to my last year of middle school and the bullying increase ten-fold once the news got out that I was bisexual, I couldn't handle it anymore, I ended up getting in to another fight. Then, at a parents conference my father threatened to sue the school for their lack of action for the bullying and for their lack of helping me in my education. I went to another school for my 8th, 9th and 10th grade classes, where the bullying was just as bad as my previous middle school. I was targeted constantly over being bisexual, all for wearing a gay pride bracelet. The school's reply “Why do you need to wear it? Why do you need to promote it?” as if being me was a crime, as if being proud of who I was is an issue in which that justified the bullying I endured. This school was no different than the others. I got bullied, I got in fights. The school never did a thing but blame me. The only time they rose up to deal with the issue was right after I got in a fight, all because they wanted to protect their image. The bullying I dealt with was not simply a few names here and there. I had objects thrown at me, I was called scum, fag, worthless, told I deserve to die, told no one would miss me, and I endured this constantly everyday. I had property of mine destroyed, things I owned wrote on. None of this was ever enough to have the school act against the bullies, instead they blamed me. Once I got to high school, I expected to be bullied, but never was. High school was when the bullying finally ended, I finally had peace. However most of my history is filled with bullying and depression. I didn't realize I was depressed until I reached 13, all the bullying (with the added abusive family I was raised under) kept me in depression till I hit 18. My entire childhood was nothing but depression and rage.

This is what I went through, and I know people who went through worse. When people say those who kill themselves over bullying are cowards, no, they're not. They're kids who was told they're weak while they got no help to fight against relentless attacks that no one should endure. How dare anyone belittle or demonize a single human being who asks for help, and how dare anyone back a bully and refuse to help victims. The more we refuse to help those who are bullied, the more we will see suicide stay a steady flow or increase. The cowards aren't those who call for bullying to end, or those who commit suicide because of bullying, it's those who refuse to help the victims in need.

France terrorist attack

This article is on the recent terrorist attack in France as of November/13/2015.

This recent attack has created a wildfire of hate and discrimination spreading all over the internet. The right-wing and many fascist news outlets have been generalizing and demonizing all Muslims for this attack. Despite that these attacks was claimed responsible by ISIS, who have proven through their actions of destroying Mosques, praying in wrong directions, and killing Muslims that they're not Islamic.

My comrade, Brandon Paykamian said it best on the subject “This is what western chauvinism and racism looks like: An attack that kills a little over 100 in Paris, a city in a western country, is widely accepted as an atrocity (rightfully so, don't get me wrong. It'd be awful if 1 innocent person was slain) But when tens of thousands of innocent civilians in the Middle East are killed by forces from NATO countries (like France) in the name of the “war on terror”, and a hospital is bombed by U.S. forces in Afghanistan, there is debate on whether those murders are atrocities too, or “collateral damage.”

This recent attack has brought on an increase of demonization and hate of not only Muslim refugees but also Muslims in general. This will increase violence and bigoted slurs against Muslims, just as it did after the 9/11 attacks. This will also have a dramatic effect in foreign policy with the increase of imperialist action against Middle Eastern countries, such as Syria at the moment. My comrade Noah explained this in a simplistic version “It's a reason to point fingers at Syria and cry “more ground troops here” and to divide it further and to get more Syrians to come to America due to inner turmoil in the country because of the imperialist machine tearing it to shreds, really only furthering hatred for refugees and fueling right-wing reaction.”
The Media is basically seeing this and going like “Alright guys, lets draw similarities between the two and milk this so we can divide Syria more.”
Not even ten minutes in to CNN on the subject they basically start saying incompetent liberal arguments like “if we bomb Syria this will stop” despite not realizing that's not how reality works.

On the subject of the refugees, a tweet sums this up rather nicely. A tweet from Dan Holloway said “To people blaming refugees for attacks in Paris tonight. Do you not realize these are the people the refugees are trying to run away from...?”

Terrorist attacks are horrible, definitely without question, but instead of creating more war that will lead to more terrorism, wouldn't the smart thing to do be to refrain from war, stop discriminating entire groups of people, and background check individuals? Is this not the logical action to take?

Our time is now!

I've said for a few years now that we need to change the way we live, we need to live better, that we are living in a time where exploitation, war, and abuse is becoming intolerable. Sadly, the situations are not in place for any kind of uprising or revolution to take place.

Any type a heavily supported uprising or revolution takes place, the situations, the recipe, would need to have the following: Mass majority nationally in support for your movement and specific ideology, majority of military support, and majority support for revolution and overthrow of the current system.
These situations do not exist today, for the American people are more divided than ever, most are hesitant of facts or science, and support wise the nation is still dominantly liberal and conservative.

However if America was in the situations to fit the recipe for revolution, of all times, now would be the best of times. It's widely known that politicians are corrupt yet we still play the coin toss game, thinking the difference between liberal or conservative will free us from poverty, struggle, abuse, and oppression. When in reality picking either of the two is only going to prolong this way of living. We struggle daily to survive, and then we're demonized for situations that can be solved easily if the government wanted to, but they don't, because it's not profitable. The way we live is due to our dying capitalist system, our system that has taken so much from so many that when we demand for fairer conditions, we get called lazy or greedy. Yet we're to never call out the greed and laziness of the wealthy, those capitalists who profit off the production of the workers labor, no, that's class warfare.

Our only solution, in the name of the workers, and for fairer living, is communism. If we seek to advance, to live in a society for the worker, we must not only study, build our knowledge through the science of Marxism, but we must also actively organize and fight capitalism through activism, through the vanguard party.

Down with pacifism, down with war, down with capitalism.
The only people that come first is the working people, that's the communist way!

The colonized people

There is four different colonized people in which I shall be talking about in this article, all four of them have the same similarities of their situation because of the result of colonization. These colonized people are the African-Americans, Vietnamese, Palestinians, and Native Americans

The Black community and the Vietnamese people:
Huey P. Newton said in an interview “In America black people are treated very much like the Vietnamese people or any colonized people because we're used, we're brutalized. The police in our community occupy our area – our community – as troops occupy territory”. Throughout slavery and segregation, the black community was relentlessly attack and manipulated, this included the utter destruction and theft of their labor and culture, same with the occupation and colonization of the Vietnamese people by the French bourgeoisie. Colonization ended in Vietnam with the revolution and rise of socialism under the communist party. However the oppression and colonization has not ended for the black community, for the oppression that creates and continues their current situation is still evident, so much to the point that there is black people who help the enemies of their community, such as helping the very racist and oppressive government that put them in the situation. This is called the establishing of Neo-Colonization within the mind of the oppressed and colonized.

Native Americans and Palestinians:
Palestinians at this current time are going through colonization as the Native Americans did, with constant war upon their land, theft of territory to build settlements for the imperialistic settlers. The Palestinians, just like the Native Americans, are discriminated against, secretly arrested, used and brutalized if not killed, and so on. It's no wonder why these two have similarities, for Israel is using the same practices as the American government used, the only difference is the advanced technology the Israeli's are using compared to old Colonial America's technology. There is a lot of Native Americans who have been so brutalized that they're plagued with Neo-Colonialism, the Stockholm Syndrome remains prevalent in the reservations. However there is still Native American communities where militancy is deep rooted, where the will to revolt and fight is strong among everyone in the community, these communities are the most slandered against and most hated, usually by the vast majority of the nation. The Palestinians have not given up their fight, they, like the Native Americans, still keep fighting against the settlers for their right to live.

The black community and Palestinian solidarity:
Israel's operation protective edge launched on July 8 2014 opened the door to awareness of Israeli terrorism to the American population, following this was outcry from political activists throughout the U.S.
Later in the year followed the Ferguson riots, which brought solidarity from the Palestinian people to the black community. The Palestinian people and black community could see the similar colonization of both their communities from oppressive governments, so of course it is not surprising to hear many African-American organizations declare solidarity with the Palestinian people, especially with their shared common issue of colonization and oppression.

Communism, socialism, and fascism

These three terms, which are extremely misunderstood by many, mainly U.S. citizens. The misguided education of these ideologies is strong, which is not surprising under the capitalist society that does everything to slander these ideologies at every given chance in order to keep the working class from fully understanding them.

Before I explain these terms, I must stress one issue at hand, this article will NOT be in support or favor of fascism, which I feel I shouldn't need to stress since fascism is a polar opposite of socialism and communism, and fascists are enemies of communists and socialists. However there is an issue with American culture that believes fascism is the same as communism and socialism, this is false.

These terms are backed by William Z. Foster's book “Communism Verses Fascism” and other Marxist writers.

Communism: Communism is by Marxist philosophy, a global stateless, classless society. Completely absent of currency, war, government, imperialism, etc. With this in mind I must point out that all countries the U.S. has labeled as communist, have never mentioned that they achieved communism, in fact they speak openly about the socialist state, these countries are the USSR, Cuba, Yugoslavia, North Korea, Vietnam, etc.

Socialism: Socialism is mentioned by the biggest Marxists as the “transition state”. It's established after revolution and the overthrow of capitalism, it's called the transition state because it's the transition from capitalism to communism. In the socialist state the order of government is controlled by the working class, this was evident with the USSR soviet council, which was a council of chosen representatives including the head of state (Lenin, Stalin, etc.). The soviet council representatives could not act without the insight of the head of state and the insight of the population, just as the head of state could not act without the insight of the council representatives. This way of order secured the dictatorship of the proletariat, which means the democratic order and control under the working class, but dictatorship with the suppression of the capitalist class under the working class control. The socialist state with this way of order and governance molds the working class to be self-governing in order to live in a future communist society. Marx when on the subject of an individual living in a communist society, said it would require the mind set of what he called “a new man” which is what the socialist state does to the masses of the country so the ability to live in a communist future is more reality than what is being said otherwise.

Fascism: William Z. Foster does an amazing job explaining fascism in his book (mentioned above) so with that I will be explaining fascism as William Z. Foster has. Fascism is reactionary expression of the dying capitalist order. Fascism is, as history has shown, the act of wealthy capitalists appropriating ignorance to the masses, feeding anti-intellectual thought and pseudo-science based in racism and sexism in order to target groups of individuals and to back imperialistic war and divide the masses. These wealthy capitalists push to steal from both the working class within the nation and also abroad through imperialistic war. Fascism has been a ideology capitalists have backed for years in order to increase capital within the fascist state, this is historically proven with the investments JP Morgan and others made to the Hitler campaign. Besides from what was already mentioned, the other historical and ideological fact that fascism is a polar opposite to socialism and communism is, as a way to weaken the worker to submission, the fascist state will destroy the communist party, the front line protection to the working class. Next the unions, regulation, civil rights groups, and other protections the working class has will be stuck in a live or die struggle as the fascist state promotes propaganda against any protection for the workers.

Exposing bourgeoisie lies

The lies of the bourgeoisie class never cease, in this article I will be exposing the biggest lies against Stalin, Mao, and North Korea.

Let’s start off with Stalin, the lies against him are the most illogical if not the most incompetent as well. Stalin is famous in capitalist society for being the murder of millions, this is simply untrue, and there is plenty of evidence to back this as well. With nothing more than some free time and research, you’ll find that for someone who killed millions, the population of the USSR doubled until the start of WWII, where in order to protect the nation Stalin and the council was forced to take anybody and put them in to military service to defend against the invading Nazi German forces. There was issues that participated with this decrease in population around WWII, one of which, that the bourgeoisie enjoy using to slander Stalin, was the famine around this time, which took place because of the invasion of Nazi Germany. As I said before, in order to protect the nation Stalin and the council had to take anyone in to military service, this included a large percentage of farmers, which lead to the lack of farming, thus, the creation of a famine as the soviet council shifts main focus from agriculture and industry to increasing military numbers and build military weaponry to protect the nation. I do need to point out, on the subject of WWII, it is easy to find that the USSR was the main participant in WWII. 90% of all soviet men who went to WWII did not come back, this also took part with the decrease of population. However, going back to the original question. If Stalin was truly a murder, with the historical situations, if he killed the millions that is claimed by the bourgeoisie, the USSR would have collapsed do to lacking population with a high chance of a population stagnation. Another lie thrown at Stalin has to do with the European rapes that took place during this time, where the bourgeoisie has said Stalin approves of it or did nothing on the matter, this is not true. Stalin wrote to the Generals and soldiers on January 19, 1945: “Officers and men of the red army! We are entering the country of the enemy (Germany) the remaining population in the liberated areas, regardless of whether they’re German, Czech, or Polish, should not be subjected to violence. The perpetrators will be punished according to the laws of war. In liberated territories, sexual relations with females are not allowed. Perpetrators of violence and rape will be shot”. Remember when soviet soldiers would be kicked out of service and/or imprisoned after WWII? It was because of their participation in violence against civilians, this also goes with soldiers who was executed by generals, it was for disobeying orders and raping civilians during this time.

Let’s move on to Mao. Same as with Stalin, the lie of being a mass murder has been placed on Mao as well, despite the facts that prove otherwise. China under Mao, despite being in power for only five years, plus dealing with war along with a famine, was able to not only have a population doubling, but was able to decrease the infant mortality rate while in office, and even from then to now, it steadily has been decreasing.

Now let’s challenge these bourgeoisie lies on the DPRK. With the amount of lies thrown against the DPRK, I can’t challenge each one without this article becoming a book, so with that said, I will tell the truth to show the lies that are spoken. The DPRK, despite being said to have labor camps, has none. What was seen was the soviet version of a gulag, which is nothing more than a mirrored version of the average American prison. On the subject of prison, if we wish to speak on the subject, it would make the most sense to highlight that the U.S. prison population make up 25% of the world population. Along with this is the issue of private prisons’ involvement in involuntary servitude (slavery) when it comes to inmates being forced against their will to work and generate profit. People have called DPRK a “thug state”, besides from this being racist, it’s also untrue. The DPRK constantly has to put focus on military because of the key fact that they have two enemy states on their boarder, and being most of the U.S. history since creation is heavy involvement in war and imperialism rather than peace, the DPRK does not wish to be the next target. If we wish to truly highlight a state that should be considered “psycho” we should highlight the U.S. when they dropped bombs north of the DMZ and leveled every building in Pyongyang, especially knowing the civilian casualties it would create. On another lie that seems to have spread like wildfire, is “North Korea is always dark” This is untrue, not only does world geography books prove this, but you could see this is a lie by google searching Pyongyang at night. I could tell you to read the North Korean constitution, and be rather surprised by the fact that it looks similar to the U.S. constitution, but you can also look up “13 misconceptions about North Korea” written by a man who visited the country and can speak from experience on the fact that North Korea is nothing like the lies that are being told. So I hear a lot “what about the DPRK defectors?” what about the fact one of them changed his story? Or the fact they found most of them openly accepted shame for lies? Or the fact the U.S.’ favorite defector Shin Dong-hyuk openly lied to the UN? Defectors mean nothing, especially when most of them said they lied.

The bourgeoisie lies through their teeth in order to keep us fighting our comrades who stand for worker liberation. To combat these lies is as important next to exposing the destructive nature of capitalism, rather it be the exploitation and wage slavery capitalism requires to thrive, or the destructive increase of capital through imperialism.
